Had a great experience with Car Nerds when I had a failed head gasket on my 2012 Subaru Legacy. Their quote was well within range of what I was hoping for (almost half of what the dealership was charging). Got the head gasket and timing belt replaced, along with a full oil change. All this was during the midst of lockdown in Santa Monica in early June 2020. Matt communicated all the updates to me as they went along, including how their hours/schedule shifted due to the lockdown. Car's running well so far; plan on going back again for future repairs.

Car Nerds did the best they could to meet my needs in a difficult environment. The price was reasonable for the repairs needed.

Quick diagnosis from Car Nerds and they ordered the part ,a hose assembly and 3 way check valve. I first went to Ford for the same problem and they kept the car 3 days and still did not localize the problem . I repeated bringing the car to ford 3 different times and paid for there brake inspection $150 with out a final diagnosis . Vacuum leak on the hybrid brake assist hose assembly . Car Nerds fixed it without blinking an eye. Worth a visit if you have an out of warranty hybrid .
