TRUSTWORTH AND HONEST.. Those words are rarely uttered in this industry but in this case they are 100% exact. From Li through the owner Everyone is up front honest and fair. The communication was excellent as I started off via Yelp back and forth and then rolled over to a phone call in order to schedule then the day prior to the schedule I received a text message to verify my site visit the following day I was able to reply to the text without any problems. Upon entering spoke with Liz Hand it over the keys pulled up a seat. Another huge plus is the ambiance of this place from the signed photographs on the wall to the video games to the computer workstations and Internet access that you can use while waiting They definitely understand what the customer is looking for when it comes to auto service. Within an hour and a half to two hours which is what was quoted for the full car inspection for my Toyota Prius everything went better than I could have ever expected or have ever had at any other service location. They've learned a lot at the Santa Monica location where they started at and now they are in the South Bay so if you have a car that you need work done on especially hybrids or Teslas Or maybe you even need appi done prior to purchase. I can't say enough good things This place is excellent I will definitely be back and tell as many people as I can about it. All of the employees seem honest and upfront and ready to help even hearing a few of them on the phone with customers that have cars in the shop with them already was very reassuring as there is no sales pitch or upsell attempt. You're going to get honest trustworthy and legitimate car service here. Again I cannot say enough positive things about them Give them a shot

The team there are lways looking or cost-effective solutions and go out of thier way to do this. I trust them a lot - this is rare in automotive servicing. FOr example I was using only authorized Dodge servicing for my Challenger but after a series of bad and extortionately priced experiences I switched to Car Nerds as they are close to my office and have a history of working with our Red Bull fleet cars.

Fantastic repair experience. These guys are the real deal. I was certain I had a major transmission problem but the checking and rechecking CarNerds did proved it was a pretty simple fix. Dropped the car off early morning and it was fixed and ready to go just after lunch time. Very reasonable charges for what they did. These guys will be my “go to” resource long into the future.

After experiencing an issue that prevented me from making calls through my Lexus, I took the car to the dealership and left it there for an entire day. They recommended replacing the DCM system at a cost of approximately $2,300. I took my car to Car Nerds this morning, and within two hours, they called to let me know that the issue had been resolved—without replacing the DCM. All they had to do was disconnect the negative battery cable and reboot the system. That was it! I paid only $98, saving me more than $2,100! I’ll definitely return to Car Nerds for regular maintenance and other services. Thank you, Car Nerds, for saving me so much time and money!

Took my car in for the first time here for routine maintenance before a trip down to San Diego. Work was quick and my car ran smooth all the way down to San Diego and back. Happy to say these guys are my new local mechanics.

I can’t give Rony and his staff enough stars ⭐️ they are the most nicest people you will ever meet! I trust them with all my heart because if they try so very hard to save you money! I let them keep my car for as long as needed, allow them to work on other cars because I have second working car, but what they ALWAYS do is look for parts that is not going to cost you a lot of $ and they give me options, so I can make a choice to give them time to search and order cheaper parts it may take a whole month or longer! But would I rather pay $5000 more for something new, available sooner? NO keep my car man! Find me a used part I’m all about saving $! And I appreciate the effort I KNOW it’s not easy finding a good deal and these guys don’t give up! Or let you down! But will tell you how they will fix the issue and you can trust they aren’t going to EVER screw you over! I went from an estimate of $37000 (WTflip) to a fraction of the price and yeah it took them a while to do it but I’m fine with that!!! They took apart my car into totally having to take it apart to fix my issue AND I had a few issues. One was the AC not working. After 7 months AC failed AGAIN I needed it to be fixed again! I am not mad, I drop off my BMW and they find out a little O ring was worn out and while other places would replace the whole part, they ordered a ring that would work for a couple bucks, did not charge me a DIME and I only paid for the cost to refill the freon gas, no cost to diagnose or take my car dash out to find the issue - they spent days looking for the issue and making sure it was not something serious. I pay for the gas they washed my car sparking clean, like how do you NOT love 💓 them???? And mind you they had to test running this car without AC in 95 degree summer heat. And they are sooo adorable, Rony is the owner and he has a brother they work together. They are closed Sunday but came out to open the shop just so I can pick up my car a day earlier, when they are CLOSED! Sweetest guys EVER! And the desk lady who takes all their calls Liz is also very nice. If you get mad at them for taking time to fix your car I’m going to tell you - they are spending their precious time to fix your car so that they save you money! Don’t you dare get impatient. I hope everyone reads this so you know they work their butts off for YOU. They will warrant their work and they won’t charge you an obscene amount of money just to diagnose your car like other shops! Be patient, be trusting and you will receive the upmost care. When I dropped off my car they were getting ready to take a customer back her home because they were closing shop and told her wait a few minutes and I can give you a ride! WHO DOES THAT? Melt!!! I was a puddle lol I am also Yelping them this. We love you guys 😘

Brought in my 98 Land cruiser they did a timing belt, water pump, tensioners, alternator along with a variety of other work. Done in a workmanlike manor. Reasonable rates and quotes.
