Santa Monica auto repair

This was a new mechanic for me. I needed someone to diagnose my Toyota Prius with a dash light problem. Matt, who answered the phone suggested to stop by the next day and he'd run an error code machine to check it. No charge involved. He told me he didn't see anything, however, he then checked the oil and there was very little oil in the engine, (shockingly, because I've never had that happen taking such good care with timely oil changes). He said he thought that might have caused the problem and poured in the oil. I met the owner Rony and thought the experience was so great, I've decided to use them as regular mechanic for future work. This place is hopping busy, and regular maintenance visits require an appointment. Matt is terrific and will probably find a way to help in emergencies. Their hours are mainly M to F 8 to 5, Sat 8 to 12. CHECK OUT CAR NERDS IN SANTA MONICA. YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED! I paid for the oil.

Resolved and repaired issues with the Jeep I brought in a timely and cost effective manner. Very professional in all dealings. Will definitely use them for future repairs on any of my cars.

Have not actually operated vehicle at this point but the diagnosis and repair agreed with online experiences and the work, though seemingly complex, was done promptly at at a reasonable cost compared with online expectations.

I brought my car here twice and each time, they were really upfront and honest about the work (it was an old car). Fixing a car will always be expensive, but I do think they are reasonable about their pricing. I would definitely recommend them!
