Santa Monica auto repair

A dealer-based service representative told me I needed $1700 worth of repairs for my 2012 Prius. I consulted Car Nerds and they said no, just a $150 repair was probably warranted. I have since learned that dealership service reps work on commission and use low cost service deals as a way of upselling you services you probably don’t need. Don’t be fooled. Go to car nerds and get a second opinion – you’ll be glad you did.

This is the second time I have gotten repairs done on my car and both times have been great. I drive an older car and Car Nerds is great about working with me to fix what needs to be fixed and not worrying about other little things that aren't 100% necessary. My car was due for service, and a few other service lights were coming on in my car. I don't know much about cars so was a bit concerned, but the guys at Car Nerds helped me out. Super nice and helpful, and helped me understand what was fixed and what was wrong with my car. Highly recommend!
