Great team! Called in to ask about a problem with my car last minute. Told me I could bring it in and they'll have a look. Was quoted an amount before I left, but Kevin called later told me they found the real problem and its going to cost much less to fix.
Straight shooters, no tricks with their pricing. They'll bring up items that should be fixed/handled and wont try to bully you into fixes if timing inst quite right. I have some repairs I need to do down the road and they're totally accommodating.
I love these guys. They do good work and don't tell me stuff I don't need. They tell me what things can wait and what should be done sooner than later. They're quick and very cooperative in finding a time that works for my schedule.

Car Nerds could rebrand as "Nice Car Nerds" and it would be truthful marketing. They assessed my car at no charge AND put my front grill back in place as courtesy after a fender bender. I'm taking my car BACK to Car Nerds for the next repair. They COULD have charged me for the diagnostic AND misled me about unnecessary repairs as I've experienced in other Los Angeles shops, but these guys seem to really care about the customer's well being. My faith in auto mechanics is restored.
